I am counting how many months had passed since I visited the United States of America. To be exact it is three and a half months now since my last visit. It was my second visit in this fabulous land and I am so glad to be there and had traveled many cities and states. I am also very grateful to all the donors and sponsors who paid for my flights to America including my pocket money, free accommodations and some sightseeing tours. I truly appreciate everything.
Here are some of the places I visited during my one month vacation in the US last 2012.
Las Vegas, Nevada– Known as “the gaming and entertainment capital of the world”, you will surely never get bored once you visit this city. There are a lot to see and experience here. There is a saying, “If you want to experience the world, go to Las Vegas”. This is because you will feel like visiting other countries due to the different themes of the hotels there. Example are Paris Hotel (where you can see the replica of the Eiffel Tower), Caesars Palace (you feel like being in Rome), New York New York (oh well feeling like in New York) and many others.
San Francisco, California– It was a dream came true when I finally saw one of the the famous and most iconic symbol of USA, the Golden Gate Bridge in this city. There are a lot of sights we visited including the Financial District in California Street, the Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39, the Ferry Building and Embarcadero, of course the Golden gate Bridge and more. I love walking at the Fisherman’s Wharf and go afterwards to the restaurants to eat seafood. This is one of the things I miss in this area.
Phoenix, Arizona– I am glad to visit the capital city of Arizona. I am also happy to visit my sister in Phoenix. It was only a short visit for three days but I love it. I had the chance to walk around the downtown area with my sister. Since it was summer during my stay there, the temperature was really so hot that I don’t have the desire to have a long walk around.
Seattle, Washington– It is nice when we have good friends around. My friend near Seattle invited me to visit there place. My visit was also limited but I am glad to have another dream came true. I finally climbed on top of the Space Needle, the iconic symbol of the state of Washington. We went to the Pike Place Market and also had a walk in the downtown. I love this city! I wish to visit it again.
Eugene, Oregon– One of the highlights during my one month vacation to the US is to attend the wedding of my sister in Eugene. It was a simply but very memorable ceremony. I am so happy for my sister who finally joined her husband. Now, they live in Las Vegas.
