Surprise Greeting from the U.S.

Hello everyone! August is almost ending again. This month is for me a great one. If you happen to read the posts in my other blogs, you might know why. Anyway, I was surprised last Friday as someone greeted me. I was working a bit in our garden when somebody said "Hi, how are you doing"?. It was a former neighbor who is having a vacation at this moment in Europe. She presently lives in the United States since she is married with an American. I noticed a lot from her face. She seems to look gray and older. Her hair is totally white and some wrinkles are already forming around her eyes. I guess, she needs the best eye cream for wrinkles to make her looks younger and alive again. Getting wrinkles and having white gray hairs are signs of getting older but sometimes through the use of modern cosmetic and beauty techniques, the signs of aging can be hindered. I just hope that she is having a good life in the U.S. Anyway, as she asked me that question how am I doing? I proudly told her, "great"!

Sis in Vegas is Sick

I heard from other sister in the US that my sister in Las Vegas is sick. It made me worry after hearing about it. She made a "call and sick" to her employer due to her diarrhea and vomiting. I hope and pray that she is feeling better right now. I wish to chat with her or call her tomorrow is she is back to normal health. I guess it is also time for her to read more about colon cleanse reviews. She is a Nurse and I know that she can manage it with God's help. I miss you all dear sisters from the US. I hope to see you soon. Take care out there!

Update from Dallas, Texas

I got another update again. I received an offline message from yahoo messenger. It was coming from my sister in Dallas, Texas. Since this is her first time to experience winter, she told me that it is very cold out there. I told her that winter time is always cold whether there is snow or not. We need heaters to keep us warm during winter time. During summer time, we need air condition system. It is also very important to always clean the air filter for maintenance. This is also true especially in hot countries like the Arab regions. It is also the same in Las Vegas. I hope to chat with my sisters from the US next time. I guess that's all for now. Have a nice day guys!

Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas

Have you been to Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas. If not, this is your chance to see it even just on pictures. I got a photo above which was taken during my vacation in the US last 2008. I stayed most of the time in my sister's place in Las Vegas where I had the chance to see most of the luxurious hotels there. I even remember that time that dear sister was having a lot of acne. I believed it is some sort of adult acne. She was not really happy about her acne problem. I guess now it is getting very better after she consulted a dermatologist. I miss you dear sister. I wish to see you soon. see you later folks. take care too!

Slow Internet Connection

I am back here. I am just giving you a short update just to let you know about my escapades. I am happy to know that sister is doing great in the United States. I wish to chat with her but the connection is very very slow at the internet cafe where I am in now in Cebu Province. I guess I need a wrinkle cream to get rid of the forming wrinkles in my forehead. Is this due to this very slow internet connection? I guess I am having stress about this because I have a lot of things to do online. I am not really happy today because of this reason. See you later guys! have a great day!

Happy Weekend!

hey folks! I just want to greet you a happy weekend! I also want to extend my thanks and gratitude to all friends who always visit me here. Sorry guys, I don't have much time for blog hopping. After our escapades everyday here in Manila, we are always exhausted. We even woke-up very late this morning. That is also the reason why we did not pursue our trip to Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna. Another reason is, I had a bad stomach last night. I still want to buy some medicine for LBM. My Bro was also asking for over the counter sleeping pill. i have no idea if they have it here in the Pharmacy in Makati. I guess it is time to take our lunch. It is almost 1:00 Pm now, Manila time. have a wonderful weekend!

Sis Flew to Dallas, Texas

Good morning peeps! Here I am again to give you a little update. Our youngest sister finally flew to the United States yesterday. We accompanied her to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 5:AM yesterday. I believed she already arrived her final destination in Dallas, Texas. I can't forget my sister complaining about her acne before she left. I guess she need a good acne facial cleanser and an effective acne treatment. She went to the dermatologist some weeks before she flew to the US but her acne only got worse. I told her to stop the all the acne soaps and creams that she is using before it is too late. I hope that she can also find a good dermatologist and an effective acne treatment. Good luck Sis! We will be missing you! God bless you too in America!

2010 is Here!

Happy New Year! 2010 is finally here! How did you celebrate your New Year's eve? We got a great one. We singed and danced the whole New Year's Eve! I guess we already slept around 3:00 AM this morning. We also had a relaxing day today. I ask my Uncle about his New Year's Resolution. I suggested to him to stop smoking Black and Mild cigars. He is a chain smoker and this vice is not really good. Maybe a moderate smoking is not so bad but being a chain smoker is not really good. Right guys? How about you? Do you have a New Year's Resolution too? I wish to share mine next time! Good luck for 2010!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is almost here! I am trying to remember what is the exact date today and realized that three more sleeps and the greatest celebration of mankind is here already. I might not be here to greet you on time so it is better to greet you in advance a very Merry and Wonderful Christmas! I already heard a lot of fireworks here in my sister's place in Talisay, Cebu. One more thing especially for those who are trying to search for Mopar performance parts, don't forget to move your mouse and find the cheapest one on the web. Take care folks! Stay safe all the time.

Sister's Call

Hello everyone! Christmas is almost approaching. This time I am spending it with my family. There were a lot of adults and children who went caroling in our house the past days. I am not so sure if there is also caroling in the United States. Any idea out there? We also received a call this afternoon from dear sister who lives in Vegas. She told me before that they have a certain insurance called identity theft protection. I guess these words are very common in the US. There are people who are stealing other's identity like what I also read in the news in the internet. I can't stay too long now. It is getting dark. We have to go home early too. I am sending my best regards to all! Merry Christmas too!

Palin to take center stage as questions swirl

By ANDREW TAYLOR, Associated Press Writer
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_convention_rdp

ST. PAUL, Minn. - After two days of silence, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will step to center stage at the Republican National Convention to prove to delegates that she can help John McCain win the White House despite distracting questions about her family life and qualifications.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, once McCain's rival for the GOP presidential nomination, was to deliver the convention's keynote address Wednesday. Both Palin, 44, and McCain, 72, also were to be officially voted onto the GOP presidential ticket by convention delegates.

Republicans hoped Palin's speech — to be delivered before a nationwide television audience Wednesday night — would sell voters on her candidacy despite questions about her qualifications and the thoroughness of McCain's selection process, to say nothing of the continuing distractions involving her family and her brief tenure as governor.

The addition of Palin to the ticket has excited Republicans here and across the country. She has earned a reputation for taking on entrenched interests in Alaska and is staunchly pro-gun and anti-abortion.

But the stunning disclosure Monday that Palin's unmarried 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, is five months pregnant — and a continuing drip of potentially embarrassing details — had knocked the convention off message before a rousing program Tuesday night.

Speakers extolled McCain as a war hero and maverick senator while blasting Obama as an untested liberal. The 47-year-old Illinois senator is seeking to become the first black president.

"Democrats present a history-making nominee for president. History-making in that he is the most liberal, most inexperienced nominee ever to run for president," former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson said as delegates roared with delight.

Palin, who has been in St. Paul since Sunday but out of sight, has a chance Wednesday to speak above the media din and present herself directly to voters as a strong-willed reformer and a solid conservative with appeal to women, including supporters of failed Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The convention returned, mostly, to normal Tuesday after its opening session was cut short as Hurricane Gustav bore down on the Gulf Coast. With damage from Gustav relatively light, the political speeches began, with President Bush calling McCain "ready to lead this nation."

Thompson, a longtime ally of McCain whose own campaign for the White House flamed out early this year, tossed chunk after chunk of rhetorical red meat to the delegates.

"Washington pundits and media big shots are in a frenzy over the selection of a woman who has actually governed rather than just talked a good game on the Sunday talk shows and hit the Washington cocktail circuit," Thompson said.

But the media focus on Palin's difficulties won't go away, particularly since Bristol Palin and the unborn child's father, 18-year-old Levi Johnston, were to attend Wednesday's session.

Republicans across the party defended Palin, who in addition to her daughter's pregnancy is under investigation by a state legislative panel over whether she had Alaska's public safety commissioner fired after he refused to dismiss a state trooper who had divorced Palin's sister.

"I haven't seen anything that comes out about her that in any way troubles me or shakes my confidence in her," said former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who ran unsuccessfully for the party's presidential nomination this year.

The prime spot in Tuesday evening's lineup went to Connecticut Democratic-turned-independent Sen. Joe Lieberman — whose vote presently gives Democrats control of the Senate — who enthusiastically endorsed McCain and Palin.

"When others wanted to retreat in defeat from the field of battle, when Barack Obama was voting to cut off funding for our troops on the ground," Lieberman said, "John McCain had the courage to stand against the tide of public opinion."

Jim Manley, a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Lieberman "can give all the partisan speeches he wants, but as the American people have made very clear, the last thing this country needs is another four years of the same old failed Bush-McCain policies of the past."
