The Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada

This is the only lake in Las Vegas where you can witness a large dancing water fountain synchronized with music. This is the famous Fountains of Bellagio. It is one of the most notable features of Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The lake was inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy.

Never miss to watch it when you visit Las Vegas.
I had the chance to watch this spectacle for a lot of times during my vacation in Vegas last 2008. This is one of the images I took.

The Summer Display in Bellagio, Las Vegas

What's the most beautiful thing I love in Bellagio? I would love to let you know. It is their Conservatory and Botanical Gardens that display different kinds of plants and flowers that reflect the different seasons of the year. Since I went there in summer 2008, I was able to witness the beautiful summer display. I love it very much since I am also a nature lover and most of all I love plants and flowers. The landscaping that they made in their summer display was so beautiful. I believed they are also using here solar landscape lights. The fountain also adds beauty to the display. The displays are changed out five times a year and reflect the current season; winter, Chinese New Year, spring, summer and fall. Here are some images taken last 2008. Don't forget to miss this display once you visit Las Vegas.

Colorful displays decorated with many flowers are often used, and fountains may also be present.

Bellagio Lake in Las Vegas

Bellagio Lake or Lake Bellagio or Fountains of Bellagio, I believed it all sounds the same. It is a lake found in front of Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. It is also one of its most notable features. It is a man-made lake where you under its surface are found large mass of water tiny fountains that can shoot water as high as the height of the Bellagio hotel or even more. The dancing water fountain is also played with music which made it more romantic and interesting. How I miss this scene!

Here I am standing exactly at the front of the lake and the hotel.

The Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada

I am trying to remember one of the sights I love in Las Vegas Strip. I love to watch the dancing water show or the Fountain of Bellagio in this city. Below are some information and the image I took during my visit last 2008.

The Fountains of Bellagio is a vast, choreographed water feature with performances set to light and music. The performances take place in front of the Bellagio hotel and are visible from numerous vantage points on the Strip, both from the street and neighboring structures. The show takes place every 30 minutes in the afternoons and early evenings, and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight. Before a water show starts, the nozzles break the water surface and the lights illuminating the hotel tower turn to a purple hue (usually), or red-white-and-blue for certain music. Shows may be cancelled without warning because of wind, although shows usually run with less power in face of wind. A single show may be skipped to avoid interference with a planned event. The fountain display is choreographed to various pieces of music, including songs by Andrea Bocelli, Frank Sinatra, and Gene Kelly.

Songs Featured: One (from A Chorus Line), Hoe-Down, Simple Gifts, Singin' in the Rain, Rondine al Nido, Luck Be A Lady, Winter Games, Hey, Big Spender, Con Te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye), Hallelujah Chorus, Carol of the Bells, O Holy Night, It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, We Need a Little Christmas, Sleigh Ride, Santa Baby, Your Song, God Bless The USA, Star Spangled Banner, Pink Panther, My Heart Will Go On, Fly Me to the Moon, This Kiss, Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Gayneh Suite, Overture and All That Jazz, Exstasy of Gold, and Viva Las Vegas.

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Las Vegas

I can't believed that I will see a very beautiful and amazing garden inside a hotel in Las Vegas. Bellagio Hotel has a Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. I heard from my sister that they always have different motives and designs in every season of the year. It is said that there are around 140 expert horticulturists who arrange and maintain this garden from ponds to bridges, gazebos, flower and plant arrangement in every season and celebration of the year like holidays, autumn, summer and spring season. The arrangement and everything in the garden are truly awesome and sensational. I wish to go back there and take better pictures. Don't miss to visit this place if you go to Vegas! here is a not so good photo I took last time. sorry my camera before is not really a good one.

I just read in the net that it was made by Dale Chihuly, a famous artist with regards to glass works. This man is quite interesting. I would love to read more about him and his glass arts. Dancing Waters in Bellagio, Las Vegas

Wait a moment guys, the fountain in front of the 8-acre lake in Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas is still not dancing. I remember watching the show for a lot of times when I am in Las Vegas Strip especially when my cousin performs in Ballys. This dancing water show is very spectacular. While there is an aquatic performance going on in this lake, an opera, classical or Broadway music is playing at the same time. It is so romantic. So here I am taking a pose in front of the lake.

Amazing Flower Show in Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas

I can't deny that I always love flowers. I witnessed the flower show in Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas last year. What caught my attention was the fountain that was installed to the garden inside the hotel. It was awesome. They also have a train model that keeps running in the bridges of the garden. This is only a part of the flower show. I hope to share more photos in a couple of days when I feel better. I might also share about Outer Banks that you might be interested in. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. No escapade for me now until I feel better.

Bellagio is an AAA Five-Diamond, Mobil Four-Starred rated luxury hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in the Paradise area of unincorporated Clark County, Nevada, USA. It is owned by MGM Mirage and was built on the site of demolished Dunes hotel and casino. Inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy, Bellagio is famed for its elegance. One of its most notable features is an 8-acre (32,000 m2) artificial lake between the building and the Strip, which houses the Fountains of Bellagio, a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music.

Bellagio was conceived by Steve Wynn and built by his company, Mirage Resorts, Inc. following the purchase and demolition of the legendary Dunes hotel and casino in 1993. Bellagio was designed by Marnell Corrao Associates and Jon Jerde. Bellagio had an original construction cost of US$1.6 billion.

The Bellagio employs approximately 10,000 people. In the fall of 2006, the casino floor was remodeled and new uniforms were issued, changing the original color scheme to a more contemporary blue and fire truck red two tone blazers.

Inside Bellagio, Dale Chihuly's Fiori di Como, composed of over 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers, covers 2,000 sq ft (190 m2) of the lobby ceiling. Bellagio is home to Cirque du Soleil's aquatic production of "O", only the second permanent production show for the world-renowned troupe.
