Paris Las Vegas at Night

This was one of the best times when I love to go walking in Las Vegas. Everytime I go for a night walk in Las Vegas Strip, I can see all the neon lights and all forms of colorful signage of the buildings along the street. One of my favorite building is Paris Hotel. I felt like as I was in Paris, France everytime I see its replica in Las Vegas.

During my visit in this city last 2008, I haven't been to Paris, France yet. My first visit to France was in 2009 and was followed last summer 2010. Seeing the Eiffel tower in Paris Las Vegas truly made me feel like I was really in real Paris that time. It was an awesome moment for me.

I guess I am going back sometime this year again in this so-called "Gaming and Entertainment Capital of the World"....in God's will!

The lighted Eiffel tower on the center, Ballys Hotel on the left side and the Montgolier balloon on the right side. I miss this place and I hope to visit it again this year. I wish to take better photos of these sights in Las Vegas.

The Montgolfier like Balloon in Paris, Las Vegas

If you are in Las Vegas Strip, I am quite sure you had already seen this sign in a shape of Montgolfier balloon in Paris. I found this iconic bulbous of Paris very sexy and simply interesting. Take a look at the image I took during my vacation in Las Vegas. Do you have an idea how this balloon is inflated everyday. Me, neither! No matter what, I simply love this neon sign.

Great job from the Montgolfier brothers, Joseph-Michel (26 August 1740 – 26 June 1810) and Jacques-Étienne (6 January 1745 – 2 August 1799) who invented the montgolfière-style hot air balloon. Now, you know where did Paris got this idea.

a sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon in Paris, Las Vegas. sorry guys, this is not really a good shot. Probably in my next visit, I can already give you a better picture because I already have a better camera.

Meeting A Friend in Vegas

I thought I can no longer meet my friend during my visit in Las Vegas. Finally, two days before I fly back to Europe, we met each other in Caesars Palace Hotel. I can still remember when Mercy treated me for dinner in a Chinese retaurant inside Caesars palace. Thanks a lot Merz, it was truly a great moment seeing you again after around eight years.

I still have a question left unanswered as I met Mercy. I was thinking what is she doing why she is so slim. ...do diet pills work? I want to ask her if she has an idea about it. Well, based on the articles I read online, some people are saying that it does work. Back about my topic about my friend. We talked a lot while walking in Las Vegas strip and visiting different hotels there. That was a very memorable moment seeing a friend in other part of the globe. Here we are in this image from July 2008.

My First Night in Las Vegas

I can't forget that night when I first stepped in Las Vegas. My sister and her hubby picked-me up in McCarran International Airport. The drove me first in Las Vegas Strip and I was amazed by the different colourful neon lights and signs in this city. After that, I complained that I am hungry and we went inside The Venetian Hotel where I had my first dinner in Las Vegas.

Here is one of the pictures I took as we were driving around Las Vegas strip. That was May 4, 2008.
I can't exactly remember where is this now? Is it in Planet Hollywood? I guess so!

Sightseeing in Las Vegas

I guess this is a continuation of my previous post. My friend Mercy was the one who took this picture during our meeting in Las Vegas. We decided to meet in Caesars Palace Hotel. After eating in Chinese restaurant in Caesars Palace, we went walking in Las Vegas strip. I noticed that I never sweat in Las Vegas when in fact, it was very hot during those months. The air there is not humid compared to the Philippines. At least I had a lot of fun during that long vacation. I also noticed that I gained more weight during my stay there. We went always eating in fast foods there plus the eat-all-you can in the different restaurants. What do you expect then? I guess it's time for me to visit some diet pill reviews. It's been a long time that I am planning to take the best diet pill but I am still pessimistic about it. Anybody who have tried the most effective one? I would appreciate if you can give me an idea!

That's me in the photo enjoying my vacation in Las Vegas!

Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada

Let's go this time to one of Las Vegas's luxury hotel, the Hotel Bellagio. I use to watch the Dancing Water Show in this hotel everytime I go to Las Vegas Strip. It is always an amazing show. I hope to share more photos next time. Here is a little information of this hotel.

Bellagio is a luxury hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip in the Paradise area of unincorporated Clark County, Nevada, USA and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. It is owned by MGM Mirage and was built on the site of the demolished Dunes hotel and casino.

Inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy, Bellagio is famed for its elegance. One of its most notable features is an 8-acre (32,000 m2) lake between the building and the Strip, which houses the Fountains of Bellagio, a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music.

Inside Bellagio, Dale Chihuly's Fiori di Como, composed of over 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers, covers 2,000 sq ft (190 m2) of the lobby ceiling. Bellagio is home to Cirque du Soleil's aquatic production "O". source: wikipedia

if I am not mistaken this is located in the Conservatory of Hotel Bellagio where we watched their beautiful garden Show.

Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada

Let's go shopping this time! Have you been to Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas? I guess I am lucky to visit one of the largest enclosed malls in the world. This mall is located in Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It has 205 stores, 7 anchors, an elevated stage, a fashion runway and "The Cloud." Sad to say I had never seen the actual fashion show which is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am not sure if they have a shop here that sells salicylic acid. I just need some for personal use since I know that it is good for anti-acne treatments. In my photo below, you can see the Las Vegas strip which is full of neon lights and signs. That huge building in the background is the Venetian Hotel, if I am not mistaken. I will still look for more photos on Fashion Show Mall in my picture files so that you will have an idea how it looks inside! So here I am enjoying my vacation in Vegas last year!

Walking at Las Vegas Strip!

That was July 2, 2008, three days before I fly back to Europe when I met my friend Mercy in Caesars Palace Hotel. From that hotel, we walked around Las Vegas Strip and visited a lot of hotels and entertainment places there. The last time I last saw Mercy was in the Philippines. I guess that was in 2001 before I left hometown. Walking in Las Vegas strip can be a lot of fun because you see a lot of interesting stuffs. I guess you don't need fat burners if you go walking there everyday. The bad thing is, when it is too hot. It might not be good especially in the month of July and August where the weather temperature is getting very high and really too hot! At least I enjoyed my vacation there and also met some relatives, my sister and old and new friends. I miss Vegas! Here is a photo of mine taken at the Venetian Hotel! The background is the replica of the Realto de Venezia in Venice, Italy.

Having Fun at Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas

Before going inside and look what's going on at Flamingo Hotel, I strike a pose first. Thanks to Portia who took photos of me. You can see in my background the Flamingo Hotel located at Las Vegas Strip. I had fun at Flamingo because right in their entrance were dancers who entertain people from outside the hotel. I guess they were tempting the people to go inside and have fun playing games. you know what I mean guys! below is also a little info about Flamingo Hotel. courtesy of Wikipedia

The Flamingo Las Vegas is a hotel located on the famed Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada and is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. The property offers a 77,000 sq ft (7,200 m2) casino along with 3,626 hotel rooms. The hotel is sometimes referred to as the pink hotel due to the structure's neon pink color. The 15 acres (6.1 ha) site's architectural theme is reminiscent of the Art Deco and Streamline Moderne style of Miami and South Beach, with the central outdoor area housing an exhibit of flamingos as part of a wildlife habitat. It was the home of penguins, but they have since been moved to a Dallas zoo. It was the third resort to open on the strip. The Flamingo has a Las Vegas Monorail station at the rear of the property.

Las Vegas Strip, Simply Amazing

Looking for some fun? Las Vegas Strip is one of the best place to go. I was truly amazed by the so-called entertainment capital of the world. I was there and that was a great experience. Walking alone in the strip, watching the different colors of lights, different shows, beautiful buildings, amazing hotels, great shopping, restaurants, what else are you looking for! I am just happy to share a photo taken at Las Vegas Strip..from this photo, you will see in the background the Caesars Palace. On the right one is the Colosseum where we watched Elton John's Red Piano Concert. That was great!
The Las Vegas Strip is an approximately 4 mile (6.4 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada, United States. A small portion of The Strip lies in Las Vegas, but most of it is in the unincorporated areas of Paradise and Winchester. Most of "The Strip" has been designated an All-American Road.

Many of the largest hotel, casino and resort properties in the world are located on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. Eighteen of the world's twenty five largest hotels by room count are on the Strip, with a total of over 67,000 rooms.

Several decades ago, Las Vegas Boulevard South was called Arrowhead Highway, or Los Angeles Highway. The Strip was reportedly named by Los Angeles police officer Guy McAfee, after his hometown's Sunset Strip.

One of the most visible aspects of Las Vegas' cityscape is its use of dramatic themes. The theming of hotels, casinos, and restaurants on the Strip has established the city as one of the most popular destinations for tourists. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas_Strip
