At The Ballys Las Vegas

I miss this place. Bally's hotel in Las Vegas Strip, Paradise, Nevada was the venue where the band of my cousin plays all the time. It is four years now since the last time I visited Las Vegas. Almost every night, I was on the strip especially inside Bally's to see my cousin's performance as a lead singer in a band.

There are just a lot of good things I miss in Las Vegas especially seeing the free shows on the strip.

This is the alley where I used to walk almost every night to see my cousin  singing in a band inside Bally's Hotel and casino.  See those lights on the ceiling. I find it  nice.

I Love This Mall in Las Vegas

The Cloud in Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas

Visiting Las Vegas? Don't miss to visit the famous Fashion Show Mall there. I love walking inside this mall and do some window shopping inside. I can't find exactly what I was looking for that time, the Fedoras Hats. Good to know that I finally found it online.

Fashion Show Mall has a variety of named designers, U.S. retail chain stores, a large food court and several restaurants.

I hope to visit Las Vegas again this year and experience more things there.

The Great Sphinx of Giza in Luxor Las Vegas

I haven't seen the original Sphinx in   Giza, Egypt but at  least I saw  its replica in Luxor Las Vegas, Nevada. This historical monument patterned from Egypt is very interesting. I thought I can only watch it in Television but I had  truly  seen it in person. Although it is only a replica but I am still happy to see it  from  my naked eyes. I know one day, I can visit the real one in Egypt. It is  included in my travel wishlist.

Luxor Las Vegas is located in on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is a hotel and a casino. Its architecture was based in ancient Thebes, now the city of Luxor.

Great Sphinx of Giza and the Luxor Sky Beam, exterior view. I was there last 2008.

I had the pleasure to see this amazing monument and the  Luxor Sky Beam  which is the strongest beam of light in the world with 42.3 billion candlepower.

Snapshot of Stratosphere Las Vegas

I am trying to remember the day when this snapshot was taken. When I looked at the embedded date of the image below, I knew what took place that day. It is almost four years now but it is still fresh in my mind when my sister and her hubby drove me to Mc Carran International airport in Las Vegas for my return flight to Europe. We also had a stop at Luxor that time for a last minute sightseeing. I forgot to stop-by in one of its shops to look for Zinwell. I did tried to search it online and found it anyway.

I did not wasted my time on my last day in Las Vegas. Looking at the clear blue skies, I took a snapshot of the Stratosphere. It was not a perfect shot but I am happy to have almost a full view of the tower. I can't wait to visit Las Vegas again..hopefully this year..in God's will!

This was taken on our way to MC Carran International Airport for my return flight to Munich, Germany last 2008.

My Top Hotels For Games and Entertainment in Las Vegas

I am sharing this post with regards to my own experience when I was in Las Vegas. I am not really into playing games at the casino but when I visited Las Vegas for two months last 2008, I did really experienced it. If you haven't visited this city yet, you can actually play poker online, blackjack, roulette and other games online. But if you are in Las Vegas, take the chance to experience playing some of these games. Just a reminder, you have to know your limit but if it is only for experience sake, why not enjoy and have fun playing it?

Slot Machines in Caesars Palace- This is where I experienced my first play for slot machines in Las Vegas. I guess, this is the easiest game to play because you just deposit a coin into the machine, pull the lever to make the three reels containing multiple symbols to spin. If you are lucky enough that the three reels land on the same symbol, then you win! I really had fun playing it. I also love the attractions and architecture inside Caesars Palace.

Slot machines at Caesars Palace during my vacation in Las Vegas last 2008.

Roulette in Binion's Las Vegas- I did not really play this game but I had the chance to watch it when we were in Binion's Las Vegas. I believed this is also an easy game to play. It is like playing in a carnival roulette which I actually tried everytime we visit a carnival. Since it is a game of chance, it involves a spinning wheel with several numbers on it and a small ball. As a player, you can bet a number which I think is up to 36. If the ball will land on when the wheel stops on the number you bet, then you win.

Binion's Hotel and Casino is located at Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas. I was there!

Roulette offers many ways to play and win. With our high-technology now like computer and internet, you can already play at the comfort of your home.

Poker at the Bellagio- I actually haven't played this game yet. I did saw a poker table in Bellagio but how can I play if I don't know the game yet. I am trying to remember a professional poker from Germany who won the $8.7 million jackpot in the World Series of Poker championship at the Rio Hotel last November 2011. His name is Pius Heinz, who won the third highest payout for a poker champion in history. Can you imagine winning such millions amount and become and instant millionaire? It is quite interesting!

If I know how to play this game, I would surely want to play it in Bellagio just to see other famous professional players like Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu. I heard that The Bellagio is very famous for its poker room. If I cannot play there, I might probably try it online at texas hold em. What do you think folks?

The Fountains of Bellagio. I love watching this show.

Las Vegas, the city which is known as the "Gaming and Entertainment Capital of the World" has truly a lot to offer to its guests and visitors. As the saying I heard from a friend goes, "Whatever you want, you can have it all in Las Vegas". I can't wait to visit this city again this year and would surely experience other things that I did not do when I was there.

Las Vegas at Night

When it gets dark, this is the time where the fun starts in Las Vegas. The city is known as "The Entertainment Capital of the World" and visiting it would surely bring you unforgettable experiences. It is a city that never sleep. But be careful to take some sleep when you are in Vegas, or else you will get exhausted and tired and will not enjoy your visit.

For me, Las Vegas looks fantastic especially during the night. You can see the different neon lights especially in Las Vegas Strip, the part of this city where most of the luxury hotels are located.

I always went around in Vegas during the night. I even did some night shopping when I was there. I was happy with the gift card sleeves that was given to me when I was there. Yes, the "Sin City" is a great place for those who love to shop. You will surely enjoy shopping there!

Here is an image I took one night when I was gallivanting around in Vegas. Such a nice scene!

Shows in Las Vegas

Being the "Entertainment Capital of the World", there are a lot of shows and entertainment of all sorts that you can see and experience in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is one thing I love in this city. I love especially watching almost every night the live band in Ballys hotel where my cousin was the lead singer. I am trying to remember if their band use paiste cymbals. Their group was great and I was always entertained everytime I watch it.

Other famous shows in Las Vegas also include the Jubilee, the Phantom, Celine Dion in Colosseum, the Peepshow, Disney on Ice and many other concerts and musical shows. Las Vegas is truly one of the best place to entertain yourselves!

Monty Python's Spamalot at Wynn Las Vegas

I miss watching this show when I was in Las Vegas. Monty Python's Spamalot was formerly showed at Wynn Las Vegas. Monty Python's Spamalot is a musical comedy "lovingly ripped off from" the 1974 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. This show has closed but I am glad that I was able to take a picture of it in Wynn Hotel, a luxury hotel and resort in Las Vegas Strip, Paradise, Nevada.

Monty Python's Spamalot had its last performance on July 18 2008. It was exactly 14 days when I left Las Vegas going back to Europe.

Experience Las Vegas

What you do when you are in Vegas? For sure, there are a lot of things to do and experience when visiting the so-called "Gaming and Entertainment capital of the world". I often read that when you want to feel like visiting other places on earth, go to Las Vegas! With the many them hotels you will find there, you will surely feel like you are in different places like Egypt, Rome, Paris, Rio de Janiero and may more.

One of the best things you can also experience there is shopping. Oh yes, Las Vegas is the place to be when you want to go shopping. You can find all goods and products in this city from clothing to accessories, gadgets, electronics, equestrian helmets, jewelries, kitchenware, cars and many more! Just name it and Vegas has it all.

I remember one day when we went to Galleria at Sunset. I can't exactly remember the things I bought there. If you feel bored, window shopping in this mall can also cool you off. Las Vegas, I wish to see you again someday!

The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada

This is one of my favorite hang-outs in Las Vegas during my vacation almost three years ago. I can't imagine that it is almost 3 years now since my visit in the United States. Caesars Palace is one of my fave hotels to hanging-out. The love walking at The Forum here. I also had the chance to watch the Red Piano Concert of Elton John. It was a very memorable and wonderful two-months vacation I had in Las Vegas last 2008.

the Colosseum is just located near the casino inside Caesars Palace. It is the venue of shows, entertainments and concerts of famous entertainers like Bette Midler, Celine Dion, Elton John and many more.

there are always a lot of people inside CP. I was there last 2008. I love it!

The Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas

This is not really a good snapshot but at least I was there and I was able to see and to walk around Fashion Mall in Las Vegas. This mall is one of the largest enclosed malls in the world with more than 250 stores inside. We did some window shopping during our visit. I remembered buying some postcards, a travel guide and other souvenirs in one of the stores there. I was not able to find swisher cigars because we really did not stayed too long inside this mall.

You can also find anchor stores here like Dillard's, Macy's, Forever 21, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale's Home.

One of the things I miss in this mall is to watch the live Fashion shows held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Here is an image of the famous "The Cloud" in Fashion Show Mall.

From Las Vegas To Europe

I am always reminded of my two months vacation in Las Vegas last 2008. It was truly a fabulous and stunning experience I had in this so-called "Entertainment Capital of the World." Las Vegas with its gigantic mega-casino hotels whose themes and names makes you feel like traveling to far-away destinations. Caesars Palace for example takes you to Rome, the Venetian let you travel to romantic Venice, Luxor seems to bring you to an adventure in Egypt, you seems like in Paris, France when you are in Paris Las Vegas and so many hotels and casinos whose themes evoke mystery, romance and experience to interesting destinations worldwide.

taken at Disneyland, California last June 2008. I miss this place!

I did not noticed the passing of time when I was in Las Vegas. Until one day, I realized that I had only some more days and nights left and I have to fly back to Europe. I was even looking for cheap flights to Paris that time to make a detour of my trip back home. I was not able to make it due to some circumstances. I also planned to stay and find a job in Las Vegas but I realized that I need to be backed home. Las Vegas for me, is just a place to make a holiday and not a place to live and to retire. It has its own beauty and charm but I love Europe better.

watching Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus last June 2008.

The highlights of my vacation in Las Vegas was watching the Red Piano concert of Elton John in Colosseum in Caesars Palace and seeing live the performance of the famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. I also had the chance to visit Hoover Dam, one of the famous attractions in Nevada. I was amazed by the superb man-made engineering of this dam. Our visit to Disneyland and Universal Studios in California was also a wonderful and memorable experience for me.
the amazing wonder of human engineering, The Hoover Dam, formerly called as the Boulder Dam.

I am happy to be backed in Europe now. I am wishing to have more travels in any interesting destinations in this continent.

The Trojan Horse Inside Caesars Palace Las Vegas

So, what's this Trojan Horse exactly doing inside Caesars palace? I thought Ceasars Palace is featuring Rome not Turkey or what? Anyway, it's really none of my business. What is important for me, I was in Vegas and had the chance to see and to experience this so-called "entertainment capital of the world". I love Vegas!

taken during my visit in Las Vegas last 2008. My sis in Vegas said that this was removed already and H&M store replaced it.

Streets in Vegas

As usual, I am trying to reminisce again my vacation in Las Vegas. Honestly, I never expected that Las Vegas is a desert until I was there. I believed, it is one of the most improved desert in this planet. Imagine how a place like this turn-out to be a "gaming and entertainment capital city" in the world.

Streets in Las Vegas are very much wider compared to the old streets in Europe. One reason is, it is newly developed unlike the old ones in historical Europe. You are like driving on surface raceways when you happen to drive on their wide streets especially on their highways. I always feel happy everytime I remember my two months vacation in Las Vegas last 2008. Thanks especially to my dear sister and her hubby for it.

The Cleopatra Barge in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas

I did not really hang-out in Cleopatra Barge in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. I used to pass this area when I go inside Caesars Palace. Some people said that it is cheesy place to enjoy, have fun, dance, drink, or simply watching others. Some people simply love this place!

The first thing you notice is the bow of the ship as you walk by it inside the casino. Then you realize that this place is actually a bar on water inside a casino. They have a DJ and a band playing music here. Music from the 80's or even five decades are also being played here.

Cleopatra Barge had also some facelift a few years ago and this classic lounge is newer, hotter and hipper. You can dance the night away, laugh and yes, people will be watching you.

Sad to say that I never spend a night listening to their band in Cleopatra Barge. What I only have was this image that I took when I passed-by. Sorry, it is not nicely taken.

the Cleopatra Barge in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. I was there last 2008.

A club venue that displays Cleopatra in a bosom-baring golden glory, as she is on the ship's bow. Photo opportunity here. Nice Egyptian style atmosphere. No cover. Servers are attentive and quite conversationalists. Music is club-like and sounds loud in such a small club. It can be heard down the hall. Club patrons can go dancing on her barge as it floats on water. The barge's oars move. Entry to the barge is by a short bridge which connects to the barge's dancefloor. It's like walking the plank like Wendy (that character from "Peter Pan") without pirates urging me on. And so, dancing on the barge presents a very up-close proximity with the rest of the patrons on the dancefloor. A cramped dancefloor. It's seems everyone wants to be on the barge. It's fun, an awesome experience. It's a-rockin' to and fro as the barge moves to everyone's dance rhythms. A scary thought: someone may topple overboard. Someone who may be a little light-headed from cocktail drink may lose balance or may be prone to 'seasickness' even though the barge is not on real big waves. That's when the fun is funny serious. "Man overboard!" ""No nay ne'er!" Let's just scamper for "Land-ho!" Cleopatra's barge is a thrill.

Fremont Street Experience and the Bikers' Show

What do you expect when you visit Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, Nevada? Crowds of people! Glittering lights! Amazing visual and sound effects! Every minute of fun is in this part of Las Vegas! For sure, you will not only want a night of fun here but more nights and day of fun!

The Fremont Street Experience, FSE for short, is located in fabulous downtown Las Vegas. If you want to see and experience free live entertainment, you can have it here. There is always a party atmosphere here and great casinos are just around the corner.

The best part that amazed me was the bikers show. I don't know how it is exactly called but I witnessed it and it was truly a superb performance. If I am not mistaken, it was the so-called
"Bad to the Bone," which is a a wild motorcycle ride with the bad boys of rock.

The highlight in FSE is the biggest LED screen in the world that can be seen here. This place in Las Vegas is truly entertaining. Don't miss to see and experience FSE when you visit the so-called "Entertainment and Gaming Capital of the World".

that globe-like structure is where the "Bad to the Bone," is performed...truly a wild motorcycle show.

The Viva Vision canopy. The canopy towers 90 feet above the ground and spans the length of five football fields. Featuring more than 12 million LED modules and 555,000-watt sound system, the light show attracts tourists and locals alike.

Sleepless in Vegas

I am thinking of a city that never sleeps. It is New York, right? I guess, yes! But now, I remember the song New York. So, I believed it is the city that never sleeps. How about Las Vegas? Let me name it the second city in the United States that never sleeps. Whether you agree with it or not, it doesn't really matter for me. One thing I am telling you guys, I also had a lot of sleepless nights in Las Vegas but I never take a single sleep aid. I know some people who are taking such aids to help them in going to sleep. I also have this so-called insomnia sometimes but I am thankful that I can still go to sleep. Those sleepless nights in Las Vegas where the times when we went for night-out especially when my cousin plays in some of the luxury hotels in this city.

I am wishing everyone a good night sleep especially for those who have problems with sleeping. I also have here a snapshot of Stratosphere. This was taken as we were on our way home.

Jollibee in Las Vegas

I believed most and maybe all of my friends in FB are very familiar with Jollibee, a food chain restaurant from the Philippines. It is also a sister company of Chowking. If you happen to visit Las Vegas, Nevada, you can find Jollibee and Chowking in Seafood City. You might need creatine products if you always eat foods from these chain restaurants. Of course, I did ordered some Jollibee foods because there is such thing as this in Europe... I mean Jollibee food chains. I am thinking of buying a franchise from Jollibee Foods Corporations to start one in Europe. I am dreaming again! Who knows one of these days? Time to prepare for dinner. More updates in my other sites. See you later guys!

Las Vegas Gaming and Entertainment

I guess we will be talking about gaming and entertainment in Las Vegas. Yes, it is truly a city of fun of all kinds! It will be more fun if ever there are slots free offered for playing. Visiting the "gaming and entertainment capital of the world" is not complete without playing one of those slot machines in any of the well-known hotel casinos in Las Vegas.

If you happen to avail of the no deposit casino bonus codes, you will for sure be happy and have fun. This is especially true now, when you are playing online. Its been almost three years now since I visited Las Vegas. There is no casino near our place and one alternative of playing it is through internet. If you are familiar about paypal casino, using it can be one of the safest way online. Transactions made through this is very much safer and easier because your credit cards or bank accounts are not visible to the shopkeeper.

Don't miss playing and experiencing slot machines in Las Vegas! I did the same. I lost some bucks but it was a lot of fun. I am dreaming of going back to Las Vegas in the future. This image was taken in one of the hotel casinos in Las Vegas.

Discover Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas

Have you been to Luxor in Egypt? Have you been to Luxor in Las Vegas? I believed I can answer these questions. First, I haven't been to Luxor in Egypt but I had already visited Luxor in Las Vegas. The Luxor Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It looks like a pyramid with a total of 4,407 rooms. Imagine how these rooms were built inside that huge pyramid hotel? I'll show it to you. This hotel was made after the city of Luxor or Ancient Thebes in Egypt. It was opened last Oct. 15, 2003. Three years later, that was the time I visited Las Vegas. Here are some pictures I took during my visit.

rooms lining the interior walls of a pyramid style tower
I was truly amazed by the architectural design of this hotel! It seems that I was also in real Luxor in Egypt the time I visited it.
