Atrium, The paradise garden in Mirage, Las Vegas
Hi to everyone! I was in Mirage for some times. For me the best part that really captured my attention in the hotel is their Atrium Garden, an indoor rainforest that you can see at the front entrance of the hotel. I really find it a paradise because of the beauty of the plants, trees and flowers inside. I can't imagine how beautiful it is!! I really love plants and flowers! The Atrium is house inside a 100 feet high dome. You can see palm trees, orchids, bird of paradise plants and thousands of bromeliads, one of my favorite flowers and a lot more. Lagoons and waterfalls are also found in Atrium which add to the attractions of the garden.Never miss to see Atrium in Mirage if you visit Las Vegas. This is especially true if you love plants and flowers just like me!! have a great evening guys!! take care too!!

Obama unveils $75 billion mortgage relief plan

Isn't this a good news for American people?? this is an interesting news I read today from yahoo..for more details, keep reading guys..
Obama unveils $75 billion mortgage relief plan
MESA, Ariz. – President Barack Obama says his $75 billion plan to tackle "a crisis unlike any we've ever known" in home foreclosures is necessary to help save the economy.
Obama unveiled the plan in Arizona, hard-hit by the housing crunch. More expensive than expected, it aims to keep 9 million people from losing their homes.
One part will ease refinancing for people who owe more on their mortgages than their homes are currently worth. Another provides incentives for mortgage lenders to help those on the verge of foreclosure.
Speaking at a high school outside Phoenix, Obama said the plan won't save every home but it will prevent "the worst consequences of this crisis from wreaking even greater havoc on the economy."

Me in Las Vegas
It is almost a year that I was in Vegas. I guess time is running so fast that only memories and good experiences remains everytime I visit different places and countries. I can't wait to visit another country next month. Paris, I am coming!!I also miss the time as I stayed with my relatives in Las Vegas especially to my dear cousin Ann. I could still remember as I played tennis in their Wii as they also have some wii accessories. I had fun as I played with Portia and my cousin's husband. I used to play bowling all the time.
I just want to share another photo today taken at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I only got here a part of the famous spiral stairs in Caesars Palace..love this hotel..Have a great Wednesday to everyone!! Take care guys!

Shopping in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is not only tagged as the entertainment capital of the world but it is also famous for its shopping, restaurants and so many more. As I went to Las Vegas, I told myself not to go shopping. but I guess most women's eyes are really prone to shopping especially if they see nice things like clothes, bags, sandals, gadgets..just name it and you get everything in Las Vegas. Most shopping centers and malls in Vegas use high-tech POS. No wonder the check-out services are very fast and easy. Bring a lot of money if you are taking a vacation in Las Vegas. You never get bored once you are there. This photo was taken in Excalibur Hotel (if I'm not mistaken)..let me know guys because until now my photos are still not organize. Have a great evening and happy Valentine's Day to all.

Geography of Las Vegas
I am just curious about the situation of Las Vegas. I finally found the answer in Wikipedia, my favorite site for more infos and knowledge. This is only for general information. If ever you are planning to visit Las Vegas, better read some about it. Not only its entertainment, shopping etc. but also other important infos like its Geography, climate and so much more. here it is..
source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas,_Nevada
Las Vegas is situated on the arid desert floor within Clark County. Correspondingly, the surrounding environment is dominated by desert vegetation and some wildlife, and the area can be subject to torrential flash floods. Enabling the rapid population expansion was a major addition to the city's sewage treatment capacity. The sewage treatment expansion resulted from a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grant funded 2008 programs to analyze and forecast growth and environmental impacts through the year 2019.
The city is in an arid basin surrounded by dry mountains. City elevation is around 2030 feet (620 m) above sea level. The Spring Mountains lie to the west. As befits a desert, much of the landscape is rocky and dusty. Within the city, however, there are a great deal of lawns, trees, and other greenery. Due to water resource issues, there is now a movement to encourage xeriscapes instead of lawns. Another part of the water conservation efforts include scheduled watering groups for watering residential landscaping. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 131.3 square miles (340.0 km2), of which 131.2 square miles (339.8 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (0.04%) is water.

Lake Las Vegas

In my background is the man-made lake in Las Vegas. It is simply called Lake Las Vegas. love it here..feeling that I am in Europe!!
here is a little info about it..
source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Las_Vegas
Lake Las Vegas is located in Henderson, Nevada. Lake Las Vegas refers to both a man made 320-acre (1.3 km2) lake and to the 3,592-acre (14.5 km2) area built around the lake. The area is sometimes referred to as the Lake Las Vegas Resort. Lake Las Vegas is being developed by 5 companies including 'Lake at Las Vegas Joint Venture LLC'.
The area includes several hotels and casinos including the MonteLago Village Resort, the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort (formerly the Hyatt Regency), The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, and Casino Monte Lago.
The dam that creates the lake is an earthen structure 18 stories high, 4,800 feet in length and 716 feet wide at its base. It contains roughly the same amount of dirt as Hoover Dam does concrete. The dam was completed in 1991. The Las Vegas Wash passes under the lake and dam in pipes that require maintenance every 10 years.

United States Vacation
I was finally in the United States last year. US has been the dream country of a lot of people especially from my home country. They want to go to the US to find for a greener pasture. I had to honestly admit I am one from them. Going to the US for vacation or immigrating to this country is not an easy task especially after the 9/11 tragedy. But maybe for people who are coming from the first world countries, spending a holiday there is not a problem because they don't need a tourist visa anymore. I am lucky to be a passport holder of a first world citizen being a German citizen now. Sometimes I can say why there are always first or third world citizenship? I think it is unfair sometimes. I believed if you want to immigrate to the US, hiring the experts and professional like immigration attorneys is one of the best way to start.During my vacation there, one of the main purpose is to find some opportunities. But I guess going back to where I belong is one of the best decision I made in my life. I already think of it a lot of times as I stayed for two months in the US. Germany is still beautiful for me. if you have to ask me what is the best place to stay? I will surely say...There is still No Place like Home" to my one and only Fatherland, Philippines!!! cheers!!

Millionaire's Condo in Las Vegas
We always passed this street when we drove to my sister's work place in Las Vegas. My sister said that this is the Millionaire's Condo in Las Vegas. This simply means that you cannot own a condo here if you don't have millions. How I wish to be one..wink..Any way, the third lotto's highest winning in Germany was finally cracked last Sunday. It was 35 million Euros. Two people won it so each has around 17.5 million Euros. That is almost 23 million US dollars..Tonight, I heard over the news in the radio that one winner still did not claim his prize. Imagine 17.5 million Euros!! He can already afford to buy a condo here in Las Vegas. How I wish I won!! lol!..I also played but only two numbers came out..I can't even buy my long time dream home theater furniture. But yesterday I bought some stand for my dolls. I was happy to see it after arranging today. Good luck to all players in Vegas.
